At undergraduate level in UCC there is a large variety of degree programmes on offer. PG Diploma in UCC

PG diploma is a level 9 degree that bridges between a Bachelors and masters. PG diploma in UCC is a two year degree and is different from a Masters in terms of the Thesis that is done at the end of the degree. Otherwise, the entry requirements for PG Diploma in UCC is the same as that for masters with a 60% minimum in Bachelors degree.

Undergraduate entry requirements for courses at UCC are again highly competitive due to the reputation and academic rigour of the university. Undergraduate students have to submit a variety of evidence in favour of their pursuit of higher education. This can include, but does not need to necessarily, their SAT scores, their GCE A-Level results, other final year qualifications and, especially for international students who do not have English as their first language, they also have to provide IELTS, TOEFL or PTE scores to compete for undergraduate English requirement in University College Cork.

University College Cork international scholarships are in no way lacking in number. There's a wide range of scholarships which are open to international students and most of them are contingent to the academic performance of the students and hence depend on merit. Admittedly, more scholarships are available to postgraduate students that are available to undergraduate students but that doesn't mean that there are absolutely none available for the latter. Scholarships are offered by the university, the government of Ireland and various private entities.
